Thus, when the need arose for a seamless online learning platform, we stepped up to the challenge, leveraging our expertise to create a tailored solution for the students of Telangana.
One of the primary hurdles we encountered was the digital divide, particularly in rural areas where access to smartphones and high-speed internet was limited. To address this disparity, we pioneered the ‘Adopt the Village’ initiative, where dedicated teachers took it upon themselves to bridge the gap. By visiting villages twice a week, these educators provided students with smartphones and internet connectivity, unlocking the doors to a world of knowledge through the OAKS app.
With a user base spanning over 4,00,000 students across 1000+ schools in 31 districts, OAKS emerged as a lifeline for learners, especially those from marginalized communities. Our platform not only streamlined the learning process but also alleviated the burden on teachers through its automated scoring system and personalized learning paths for each student.
Moreover, OAKS facilitated interactive live sessions and curated educational videos, empowering students to grasp complex subjects like Science and Mathematics with ease. Through this dynamic approach, students from TSWREIS, TTWREIS, ITDA Badharchalam, TMREIS, and TREIS embarked on a journey of self-directed learning, transcending the limitations of traditional classroom settings.
