Mr. MPR Vittal
In an era where traditional education struggled to evolve, Mr. M.P.R. Vittal emerged as a pioneer, determined to transform learning for generations to come. With a master’s degree in Political Administration and over a decade of service in the Indian Defense Services, he deeply understood the values of discipline, perseverance, and leadership—qualities that would shape his revolutionary approach to education. Witnessing the challenges faced by students and teachers in semi-urban and rural areas, he recognized the need for accessible, high-quality learning and took bold steps to bridge the gap.
His journey began with Sunitha Academy, a coaching institute that placed over 7,800 students in defense services over 15 years, creating a lasting impact on families and communities. However, challenges like teacher shortages and commuting difficulties fueled his determination to think ahead of his time. Inspired by Singapore’s advanced education models, he pioneered remote learning in India—recording educational videos long before digital learning became mainstream. His innovative approach led to the founding of Sunitha Infovision Ltd. in 2002, a platform dedicated to revolutionizing education with cutting-edge solutions. Over the years, the company grew exponentially, impacting 1.5 million students, 35,000 teachers, and 3,500 schools nationwide. His leadership was defined by resilience, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to making education accessible and transformative.
Inspired by his father’s relentless pursuit of educational excellence, Mr. Suman Matcha founded Oaks Solutions, a next-generation ed-tech startup that reimagines learning with a fresh, first-principles approach. While deeply rooted in his father’s vision, Suman brings a dynamic, technology-driven perspective, ensuring education is not just efficient but engaging and future-ready.
